Anne Macaulay
Counsellor
Anne is an experienced counsellor registered with Counselling and
Psychotherapy Scotland (COSCA). She is a qualified and experienced
Couples Counsellor. She has been counselling for over 10 years and
previously managed a counselling practice overseeing several
counsellors.
Anne works with both individuals and couples helping them with a wide
range of life experiences such as grief, trauma, addiction, stress, and
anxiety. Anne works alongside couples to resolve issues within their relationship
to enable their relationship to thrive.
Life can throw up issues which can feel overwhelming, and Anne takes a
person-centred approach to help clients find ways forward and to create
opportunities for growth. A high priority for Anne is to offer her clients a
safe, unhurried relational space to express and explore unresolved
issues which have become problematic. Anne understands that seeking
help can often leave people feeling vulnerable and she helps her clients
by fostering a confidential, non-judgemental, and compassionate
environment. With a background in NHS healthcare, she brings this
wider experience to her counselling.
