Nadeem Ishaque

Integrative Psychotherapist

Nadeem provides a non-judgmental and confidential space to create an accepting therapeutic relationship that will allow you to safely explore and process your thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Nadeem’s style of psychotherapy is goal orientated, using a range of tools with different models of therapy to help you be the best version of you. Nadeem works with a range of issues including: addictions, anger management, anxiety complex trauma, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues and spiritual abuse.


After completing the pre-requisite COSCA counselling skills course, Nadeem obtained his Post Graduate Diploma qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Group Work in 2020. Nadeem then further studied in Approaches to Islamic Psychology and Psychological Therapies, accredited by the International Association of Islamic Psychology, completing his training to practice in 2023.


Nadeem has extensive voluntary and public sector knowledge and work experience in youth development, family mediation, addictions and mental health. Nadeem is also the co-founder and Director of a grassroots organisation called Urban Community Project, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people and families from Black and Minority Ethnic Communities in Glasgow.


Nadeem is a registered member with the Professional Body of Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA) and works under their code of ethics. Supervision is a requirement by COSCA (and all professional bodies in the UK) to ensure all counsellors and psychotherapists in practice are keeping their skills up to date and that they work in a safe and ethical way. Nadeem has regular monthly supervision with an experienced CBT and Counselling supervisor which also forms part of Nadeem’s professional continuous personal development.


Sessions can be arranged in afternoons or evenings to allow you to fit them around your schedule.
