Profile Information
Feeling confused, anxious, sad or angry; having relationship, work or family issues, or finding it difficult to deal with grief, loss, change or the past are entirely normal, if challenging, parts of being human.
I am a person-centred therapist, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have experience working with grief and bereavement, trauma, anxiety, depression and work and relationship issues, amongst others. I can help you find your way through your distress, whatever the source by listening carefully and responding honestly, and without judgement, whilst you talk. In doing so, I’ll help you to get out what’s going on inside, so we can explore it and understand it better. And the better you understand yourself, the more you can untangle things, see patterns and move forward.
You can find out more about me, the person-centred approach and how I work at www.theordinarytherapist.co.uk. Contact me to arrange an introductory 30-minute session free to see if I could be someone you would feel comfortable working with.
