Seeking help can be hard; rarely do we know what will make us feel better. Counselling is a tried and true path to relief: opening up to another human, who can offer you support without being entangled in the rest of your life. Maybe you know exactly what it is in your life you need support with - a past experience or relationship, a difficult emotion you can't shake. Maybe you've reached a point in your life where your usual habits and ways of coping have stopped working. Maybe you know something needs to change, but you aren't sure what. Counselling can help.

As a Psychodynamic Counsellor, I will help you gain a better understanding of your inner worlds by exploring experiences, relationships, and emotions in your past and present. As connections emerge between these, we often find that our lives start to feel more bearable. I will accompany you on this journey with compassion and attention, and without judgment. As for me, I moved here from America in 2018 after traveling extensively and working a very diverse range of jobs. In Glasgow, I've spent over five years working in youth homelessness. I've supported people from all walks of life, with empathy and without judgment. Even so, each new partnership brings a new, unique person, and I'll meet you with an open mind.

I’m happy to offer a 15-minute initial consultation where we can explore whether we might be a good fit to work together. If we don’t work together, I can also offer advice on what other avenues you might consider. The first step is often the hardest, but the journey is well worth taking.
